Abstract

|
Aegiceradienol (28-noroleana-12, 17-dien-3β-ol) was isolated from the roasted Sanguisorbae radix and its structure was elucidated by various spectroscopic techniques. Aegiceradienol was an artifact produced by heat treatment of the herbal drug. Its content was increase as the time of heat treatment increased.
